My journey started on 5th July 2022
Age 27
Height 159 cm
Weight 54kg
4 months before I got to know about height increasing surgery. I was doing a lot of research on whether it can be a safe option to increase height. After lot of googling, consulting and youtube videos I was sure that it's a safe way to increase height condition you have to be in the care of an expert. Surgery is a part but the journey after surgery is very crucial and one needs care from an expert in the field.
While searching for institutes for limb lengthening, I got to know about height increase info from youtube. After going through their limb lengthening pateint videos and interacting with them with my queries, I was pretty sure that this is the best institute I can go for my limb lengthening. I booked my surgery 1.5 months in advance.

Finally it's my surgery day 5th July. Morning I got my blood report and chest x-ray done. Everything was fine.
At night my surgery happened. I had gone for LON method on Tibia. The surgery happened successfully. It went for almost 4 hours.
After surgery pain was there but it was bearable and also it was minimized with the use of painkillers. I stayed in the hospital for 5 days. After that I was shifted to a guest house where all the limb lengthening patients were housed.

Moved to the guest house. Initial few days there was pain but it was manageable. My lengthening started on the 7th day after my surgery at 1mm per day. The physiotherapy also started by the time. We had 2 times physio in a day. Every alternate day Dr Hirdesh used to visit us to see if everything is fine in areas like pain related, muscle flexibility, supplement needs, lengthening complications etc. He has a vast experience in the field and thus any of our problems or issues gets sorted out in an effective way. We also have caretakers in the guest house which are there for us 24/7 for our daily needs. Diet is an important part during lengthening thus proper nutritional food is also taken care by them. Our X rays are done on every 20 days time period.

Major challenges I faced during lengthening are lack of sleep and putting effort continuously during the lengthening journey. Initially it was hard to get sleep even for 3 to 4 hours a day. You hardly get 1 to 2 hours of continuous sleep, but with time you get used to it and the sleep pattern also becomes better. Initial days were easy to manage everyday tasks but somehow it requires more effort as time continues. Proper diet, timely supplements, physiotherapies, pain, sleep etc all have to be managed every day to achieve the desired results.

Finally I achieved my desired height increase of 8 cm. It took me 94 days with frame to achieve it. My journey during the frame days went on somewhat smooth, there were few ups and downs but overall it was good. Finally it's my frame removal day 7th Oct. The surgery went on for half an hour and my frame got removed. The rod inside tibia was fixed with screws. I stayed in the hospital for 1 day after which I was again shifted to the guest house. Initial 2 days I experienced pain, after which the pain was very less, almost gone after the 4th day. Now I was feeling light in my legs, was getting better sleep and felt positive towards returning to normal life. It was still few months of journey remaining to walk properly.
