Any suggestions?
$30 000 budget. Livelifetaller is $28 000 but people say to avoid them. Who else is there in Turkey or Europe at that price.
From this forum, it seems there isn't a single good doctor anywhere. Every Dr, has negative reviews.

Giotikas in Greece has good reviews.

Same problem here. I also lookin for a doctor in Turkey. Previously i had my rhinoplasty surgery and teeth done in there. Me and everyone loved my new teeth and nose after my procedures.
Of course as like you i will stay away from Dr Buldu after everything i read here horrible :-X. I'm between LengtheningTurkey and Dr Yuksel Yurttas. Have you checked them up?

I don't think his price is anywhere near $30 000

I don't understand how anyone can make a choice with which Dr is okay to go with. This forum would make you think no Dr is competent whether they charge $30 000 or $300 000.
Every Dr has as many bad reviews as good. I guess it's best to just go to someone who does dozens of surgeries each year and some get fked, than someone else who does 10 a year and half get fked.
If someone can actually tell me where I can get LON on tibias done for $25-30k then go ahead. Otherwise I just have to risk it like everyone else basically has to.

Then look it up, don't just think you can't afford someone good without knowing.

I did check. My bad, it was sort of a British sarcastic thing. "Not sure he's in my price range mate" (I know he charges $40k+)

The best LL doctor in Turkey may be Yukksel Yurttas or Metin Kuccukya.
They are extremely experienced and open about risks. Also, they will decline certain surgery requests out of principle.
Do your own research, of course, and take this forum with a grain of salt.
Don't blindly believe me either. It's your legs.
That being said, doctors who do LL for money aren't exactly on the same level as heart surgeons or neurosurgeons and shouldn't be worshipped.
That goes for our favorites (Paley, Mahboubian, Betz, Giotikas, etc) as well.. Remember that this surgery is all about the money you offer them. Best of luck.

Yeah I'm in contact with Dr Yurttas, he seems the most reasonable/realistic. No false hope kind of vibe.
I'll see how it goes as I've been a month away from being operated on and then I check the forum again and the Dr I chose has somehow become the worst surgeon of all time.

I feel the same way as well. I was leaning towards Buldu but have backed away from him after hearing about multiple complications from his patients on this forum, twitter, and d.
Unfortunately, if you're doing it in another country, there is an heightened risk. There was always a risk of this LL surgery as it is, but doing it in a foreign country is even worse.
I think Yukksel is a good choice, but I will be taking new decisions with a heavy emphasis on patient research.

Yeah. Feels like a cycle tbh. I see a Dr being praised so I go ahead and decide to go with him. I get it all planned for a few months and then I check back in with the forum and that Dr is no longer deemed good anymore. Happened with an Indian Dr I was going to go to in the past, then Dr Buldu, now let's hope it's not the same with Dr Yurttas.

Oh, didn't realize you only wanted internals.
