Honestly the before was really terrible and I anticipated it to be really terrible. Can‘t do much about it. My advice is to just tell the nurses and doctors you are very anxious before and they will calm you down. I think other people can calm you down much more psychologically than just yourself in an inner monologue.

Anxiety before as bad as I expected
Adjusting very easy and much better than I expected
First few weeks much better than expected. Pain from broken bones is nonexistent on pain meds.
Muscle tightness after 1 month+ post OP much much worse than expected.
Sleep deprivation during lengthening much worse than expected.

Previously i had a cosmetic surgery and when i was a kid i broke my leg painwise i know what i will feel also i've been reading all the diaries so i have an idea about what will happen..
