Hello,
I would fly to Turkey in mid-January 2023 and look at 3 large leg lengthening clinics.
1. Livelifetaller. Unfortunately they have increased their prices for LON femur from 25k to 35k. This includes the operation, accommodation and all meals and physiotherapy.
2. Global Orthopedic Group. This clinic is supposed to be new, very modern, the doctors are called Dr. Metin Kucukkaya (has ben worked with the likes of Dr Donghooon Lee in South Korea and Dr Peter Thallar in Germany) and Dr Sami Soduco. Their rehabilitation team has been trained and worked with the ICCLL in Baltimore and Dr. Payley in the US. A LON femur costs 35 k. This includes the operation, accommodation and all meals and physiotherapy. (I got the information from an employee of the clinic via Whatsapp)
3. Prof Dr Yuksel YURTTAS | Limb Lengthening Surgery in Turkey. According to this forum and the staff, Dr. Yurttas must be very experienced and his phisiotherapy must be of a standard level. I will also look at his clinic and here is the price for LON Femur 25 k. This includes the operation, accommodation and all meals and physiotherapy. (Presumably they also increased their prices due to inflation)
It's difficult for me to make a decision because in this forum the employees always talk about themselves. I don't know which patient testimonials are bought and which are real. That's why I want to personally fly to Turkey for the days to see the clinics, the doctors, the patients and the quality of the physiotherapy team.
What would you advise me to look for? Of course, the patient experience is the most important thing to me. What else should I look out for? My goal is it doesn't matter to gain at least 8 cm with upper or lower leg and to get bigger. My maximum budget is 35 k, my bank doesn't give me more as a loan :(. Do you have any other suggestions and clinics in Istanbul that I should look at? Only when I have developed a good feeling for a clinic will I have a leg lengthening operation in March 2023.
Greetings and sorry for my English.

I would suggest look for a surgeon who is very experienced and known for Limb Lengthening mainly in deformity correction because this is how you can determine a good surgeon. Maybe ask to see XRays although they may not be able to provide because of patient confidentiality but its worth a try.
Also having a very experienced rehabilitation team and after care is extremely important because like Dr Payley said the surgery is the easiest part for a good surgeon but the rehabilitation is challenging and most important they are specially trained in limb lengthening.
Ask the surgeon how many surgeries they have done and also how experienced they are in treating complications too
Out of them, Dr Metin Kucukkaya is definitely the most experienced and renowned surgeon and with his team of rehabilitation specialists is one of the reasons I am also considering him for my own surgery. Not only good surgeons but good rehab team too, which many patients underlook the importance of having a specialised rehab team for your surgery.
I think it is a good idea that you are visiting them too but of course its not about a fancy facility, the most important thing is to speak with the surgeon and physios and find out there experience, find our where they were trained and by who, how much experience they have and see jounal articles online, maybe other good surgeons know of them too and then when you are clear on their experiences it might be easier for you to make a decision
I am sure all are good but please let us know once you visited the surgeons
Good luck!

I would not recommend none of them. Especially stay away from livelifetaller.. Most of their patients ends up disabilities or irreversible complications.
I will have my surgery next week from Dr. Fatih. They have very good results..
Their company is called Lengthening Turkey. They offer accommodation included packages for both LON and precice.

I called the Global Orthopedic Group and had a very good impression last week. I inquired about lengthening and it seems to be 66 000 USD for Precice 2 (all included). It also seems to be about 120 000 USD$ for quadrilateral (surgeries roughly 3 weeks apart).
They have two doctors, Sami Sokucu and Metin Kucukkaya, the inquired prices should be for Metin but opting to do the surgeries with Sami should cost less. Their physiotherapy team is really their selling point, they also do not take in many patients.
-
Me too I had a good impression too although I think those prices were for Dr Sami and perhaps slightly higher for Dr Metin Kucukkaya but that’s understandable since he is one of the goat surgeons.
If anyone is going in next few months perhaps we can plan to go together, it would be nice?

66k for precice in turkey LOL!
-
Wow! Interesting! I am waiting for your feedbacks from all of them

CLL was the one thing in my life I was not bargain-hunting for. Compromising your health and ability to walk was not going to be part of my plan. I was willing to pay top dollar for this procedure and decided to go with Dr. Paley. No regrets.

People still go to turkish butchers after dozens of horror stories from LL'ers that went there and were crippled.
Some of you are even naive or simply st*pid.

All LL surgeons in Turkey and India are butchers!!! No exceptions!
Next butcher shop will be Iran!

Only good surgeon in Turkey is Metin Kuccukaya. Don’t go to anyone else.

Hmm weird that they quoted you for 66,000 USD. I sent them a email three weeks ago to ask about their price and they told me that it was 90,000 USD. We need a clarification from them about prices.

This. Its worth paying 60k for the procedure in a first world country like Germany or the US. You only have one chance to do this right. Never and under no circumstances do LON

where did you do the surgery? In Turkey? Which hospital?

Do you have evidence that some patients have been crippled or have you read it somewhere and you think that's the truth? Do you know a patient who became crippled? If so, which doctor did he see?

There are a lot of diaries of patients who were crippled by Turkish or Indian LL surgeons. In my opinion, this is only the tip of the iceberg since most of the crippled patients don't make public statements due to shame and fear. Especially, crippled Asian and Japanese patients won't show up because they would lose their face when complaining about these LL butchers.

Guys
GLOBAL ORTHOPEDIC GROUP did not exist 6 months ago.
Some very shady guy from London named “Asim” who wouldn’t give any background about himself, reached out because he wanted to partner up with a known name of Limb Lengthening to offer cheaper LL options in Turkey.
To me They’re another greedy turkish clinics owned by god knows who, and that just wants to make a quick buck. Their physical therapists were NOT trained at ICLL
Beware of them as soon we will start seeing diaries about them like the other ones we read about from Turkey.

I really can't believe how there are still people giving plenty of money to turkish doctor crooks to ruin themselves while they can do LL with the same money on first world countries like Italy and Greece.

FYI you might be able to do limb lengthening with precise in the US for $66k or even less. I paid less than that. I don't see why anyone would go to Turkey when you can pay the same amount and get the safety/protection of doing this in the US. By the way, it's not that I don't think it is possible to get good healthcare somewhere other than the US. But I think there is enough evidence that there clearly is not enough regulation of this procedure in Turkey given the complications patients have had and continue to have.
-
True unless its a surgeon like Dr Metin Kucukkaya who is a well known specialist in the field. He is the only surgeon to be trusted in Turkey imo. Wherever you go you must make sure your surgeon and team of physios etc are all experts in the field of Limb Lengthening.
Check their journal articles or ask other reputable surgeons if they have heard of your surgeon names do your research!

Thanks for the info, it did feel like they showed up out of nowhere. Dr. Donghoon Lee did recommended Dr. Metin which made me think they were legit. The guy on the phone said the reason why the bank we send money to is in London is because "people are afraid to send money to Turkey", but now I am starting to wonder whether the whole thing is just a big scam from someone in London.

Totally normal to have concerns about them, because you are right they did come out of nowhere. I’m waiting for the interview of Dr. Metin on Cyborg4Life to verify things.

Also, I have another story about this:
#1. Their website led to a 404 error just 2 months ago.
#2. I tried to contact another doctor in Turkey for LL, his name was Serkan Gurcan. The doctor gave me a consultants phone to ask questions. The person I contacted them tried to make me not go to Gurcan and tried to push me towards Global Orthopedic Group. He kept going on and on about Paley trained physiotherapy. Also, he had a London accent, and was very salesmany, like he was trying to sell me a car or something. It was weird because I tried to contact him for Gurcan and he got mad and tried to push me towards Global Orthipedic Group. After that, I didn't feel comfortable so I didn't contact them again.

Yeah it is definitely normal, knowing about the other cases in Turkey but Dr Metin Kucukkaya is not new to the scene and I can confirm I had my consultation with him through G.O.G so it’s definitely legit. I was very happy with my consultation with Dr Metin Kucukkaya and the team at G.O.G was very professional too. I would say ask for your consultation and yes that interview on Victors channel will confirm things for us for sure, from what I heard Dr Donghoon Lee Nd Dr Peter Thaller will also be on the same interview so I cant wait for it.

Let me tell you what i think. I think you are that guy who called “Asim” Dr Michael mentioned.
This explains why you are constanly pumping this Dr Donghoon Lee endorsment bullcrap about Dr Metin under all topics. And most of all you are the one who posted Global Orthopedic Group page in the doctors section. So obvious🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

I am really confused about this topic... You are really a person who wants to do this surgery or an employee for some company in Turkey and you are here to promote them?
-

Giotikas and Pili, the apprentice of Catagni.
Especially with Giotikas there are plenty of diaries here with very good results and none of the dozens of horror stories that we read about Turkey and their merchant crooks with instagram pages that advertise LL like it is some botox procedure or boobjob.
Only a fool would trust his feet on these butchers.
About clinics, I don't know. You can do your research on your own about the doctors I mentioned.

Looking for info about surgery and patients he operated on

So yesterday I visited my first clinic „Livelifetaller“. As soon as I arrived there were people from this clinic (or company in name health?)with walkie talkies and then a woman came up and asked me who I was, even though I had announced my appointment several months ago. I told them Sedat knows about my arrival but I feel this guy is God there and knows more than any Professor or Doctor how leg lengthening works and it just turned in. (He has been a patient himself and has had the surgery 3 times and has grown 20cm and I doubt he even studied)I didn't see him because I was told he was in surgery (which I didn't believe). This is where I got suspicious for the first time
I was kindly offered a coffee and then the younger brother Sedat came and he showed me through the clinics and answered all my questions. I was shown the rooms and everywhere were the "physiotherapists" that you can see on the instagram pictures and I had the feeling they want to build a family feeling towards you (which doesn't work for everyone like me because I'm very serious and I don't of feelings people and because these people are all about the MONEY no matter how much I suffer from my height).II have always asked sensitive questions, which is why I was looked at sensitively by this person because I didn't respond to their "family". I am there in these 3 months to grow and not to make the best contacts or anything else. After these 3 months I'm gone and what got me into building this hypocritical relationship? I will never visit this clinic again because I hope I have achieved my goal.
After that, a woman who spoke German introduced herself to me in the lobby and she answered my questions honestly like Sedat's brother, which I thought was good. After that I am going to address the most important question which is the price of LON Femur. And now attention (the operation and hotel accommodation cost 35 thousand euros and 2 months ago the same operation cost 25 thousand euros) I asked them what the reason was and they told me inflation was the main reason and the pills that you take for the operation you have to pay less and you have to pay for everything yourself.
In these 35 thousand, food is not covered. Not even breakfast where certain nutrients are very important and healthy reasons for healing and strengthening bones. asked him how many euros I have to reckon with in addition to the 35,000 in order to be able to eat well at least every other day, since nutrition is important after the operation. He said i should pay 5 thousand extra so the fun costs 40 thousand euros!
The price annoyed me so much that I closed my heart with this clinic. Yes, it's true, the physiotherapy is first good (Personally, I don't think family relationships with patients are good) and you have 24 services in these 3 months, you have people who are similar but please 40 thousand euros for an operation where you get a full plate of kebabs for 7 euros in Turkey?
This God Sedat or Dr. Buldu should be ashamed to offer such an operation for 40 thousand euros, which was 25 thousand euros 2 months ago. It is ashamed of others and un-Islamic to deal with the suffering of people in this way.
And why are they increasing the prices? I don't want their "family" relationship of patient to therapist, I want to grow up to 8 inches safely and cheaply. I think that's the best way to go to this clinic, but for this price I don't give a fk! 40 thousand is more than perverse! And the doctor who does this is not even a professor, Sedat is portrayed as the saint who takes all your pain away (and takes the money out of your wallet because of your suffering because of your lack of height)
It also seemed like a lie to me that this clinic is always full of patients! The patients I spoke to made a good impression, everyone said they could walk after 2 days with help and definitely don't regret their decision. But I won't do it for 40 thousand euros!
But I had a feeling from this team that they looked at me too pessimistically and I think this price is too high and that's why they commented on each other and I saw it in their looks. I don't give a about the family atmosphere for 40,000 euros, but yes, you can certainly achieve your goal of growing because I think the physiotherapy is good and the equipment was good. Anyone who can afford it and can handle their conscience well should operate on it. I will not do it.
In summary, I would also have asked 40 thousand euros per person for an operation as an entrepreneur, also established a family relationship with patients and would be very nice. But I didn't fall for it. So for me LiveLifeTaller failed because they work very hypocritically, they try to make you feel safe in an emotional way so that you can continue to be there and pay. Not with me.

Next time I will visit the hotel and the clinic of Prof Dr Yuksel YURTTAS | Limb Lengthening Surgery in Turkey. So stay tuned!!

Rising surgery cost due to inflation is a real thing across the globe for limb lengthening and will probably continue to rise due to the nature of this surgery ( LL popularity has exploded in recent years and only driving up demand ). The price in Korea have also skyrocketed with Dr. Lee and other Korean Doctors also increased their surgery cost by around 10k average ( both precice and LON ) and all stated they will continue to increase prices in a yearly basis as well which made some concern in the Korean LL community.
Limb lengthening surgeons in Korea also have a long waitlist ( 6 months ~ 2 year ) because there are so many people wanting to get this surgery but there's a lack of proven/quality surgeons that can assure a satisfactory result. I wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Buldu was busy doing surgery since LLT is one of the biggest/popular LL hospital out there ( the Japanese LL twitter community is extremely big and many of their first choice is LLT).

Yeah it's pretty surprising just how big LLT is in Japan and you can probably see JP patients show up in LLTs marketing videos as well. I think LLT hires Japanese recruiters ( I think one of them goes by the name samurai on twitter who was also a LL veteran ) to persuade LLT is a top choice compared to other popular closer destinations like Korea.
-
Better off paying an extra 15k and getting internal weight bearing nails. 40k is a ridiculous amount, ridiculous.

its disgusting. people like LLT is half the reason why this surgery has a bad name. but I guess thats what people get for not doing their due diligence on something this complicated

It mostly depends whether your insurance cover anything or not. If it doesn't then you'll probably pay more than $60k (but less than $100k with some doctors).

I did not have surgery to these companies and doctors. But I had surgery in Turkey and I am satisfied. I do not want to tell information such as price or hotel. Just research thoroughly in which country or which doctor you will have surgery. The forum has a search section. Type the name of the doctor or company and search. Don't be in a hurry, do your research.

Hey Guys,
I'm sorry that I'm just getting in touch now. I have leg lengthening at Dr. Yuksel Yurttash made in Istanbul. I took LON femur and got 7.3 cm. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I have to tell you, I will not forget this time in the rest of my life.
Greetings

I do have a question. Have you gotten any complications like many do with him? Did you get an infection while lengthening since you choose LON? Can you send some x-rays or some kind of proof that you did it? Their is many fake claims and dairys of people claiming to have been at x and x Turkey LL center lol.

Man I understand your fears. But what is being done here is completely surpassed by reality. I did my femur LON with Dr Yuksel Yurrtash and I have no regrets. Of course there were disagreements, but you have to be clear that you don't do nose surgery. The doctor did his job perfectly, he did the fixators on my legs. With a lot of difficulties and hellish fears I finally reached 7.3 cm. There was always someone I could talk to but I didn't give a fk, why? I WANTED TO GROW AND I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THAT AT 7.3 cm.

I don't know why you cling to individual cases where things didn't go well, but folks this surgery has complications. I have X-rays and so on if you are interested, but I can only tell you the doctor does his doctor at 1A, for this he charges even less money than other clinics that even charge twice as much for the same operation and the same RESULT. I was in the hotel after the operation, there were physiotherapists like FATMA (I LOVE THIS WOMAN, MAYBE SHE KNOWS WHO I AM ;) every morning except for public holidays. I've been back in Germany for almost 4 weeks now. I have physiotherapy here, which of course is not comparable to that in Turkey, and I go to the gym every other day. I explained to my trainer what I did and he wrote me a plan that I'm doing now.
Well I can't complain, the only thing that bothers me is I'm still not happy with my new size. If I have money I want to make my tibia 6 cm bigger.
If you believe my story or not, I don't care. I did it and am over 7 cm taller without major complications. I couldn't afford other hospitals. If I want to know something, just screw it.

Congratulations, how many days did you use to reach 7.3cm?

I don't wanna be racist or anything but I think you should avoid middle east. I'm middle eastern my self and I wouldn't get that surgery here. Doctors here aren't good enough and they have no sense of conscience. And the law enforcement is pretty ty. Go get the surgery in Europe or Korea or America. This surgery is risky you can't afford to get paralyzed for life

We bet you'll run like a dog to the very people who offer the surgeries cheap and good. I don't understand why you include religious topics. Seems like muslims did something ugly in your childhood..
