Title: Work from home in LON tibia
Post by: BeHappy on February 05, 2023, 10:35:46 AM
Hi,

Want to get a practical understanding if work is possible and if yes, how much of it is impacted mentally/physically? I am a software engineer, can work from home/guest house. I'd need to do desk work about 8-9 hours a day.
Also, does 1 week post op look like a realistic time when I can restart my work?
I have been through many diaries, and there are mixed opinions. Want to hear first hand experiences from people in similar professions.

Thank you.

From what I saw from fellow patients, some of them were able to do their computer-related jobs during lengthening.  Not sure about the 1-week thing though.

If everything goes well and your pain threshold is high, yes, you can work comfortably after 1 or 1.5 weeks.
