Title
I'm pretty lean and active. I'm looking to schedule my consultation and get precise limb lengthening within the next few months. What is the minimum amount of time that I need to stretch prior to getting 2.5 inches in the femur at 5'8?
I was planning on spending a month of consistent stretching before limb lengthening.
1) Is this enough or should I consider more time?
2) How important is pre-surgery flexibility for athletic recovery, or is this hardly a factor when already above average flexible?

bro i would just start now
you dont need to dedicate all your time to working on flexibility
if you check out https://www.youtube.com/@MovementbyDavid
you will see more gains simply stretching 2 mins every day that by the time you get your procedure you will hae plenty of flexibility
i stretched my calves for most of the year leading up to my procedure and it helped a lot maintining dorsiflexion during my lengthening

I mean, stretching pre surgery won’t really help you. You would have have lost most of your flexibility due to surgery and as you lengthen your flexibility will worsen.
But If you wanna get into a regular routine now for memory muscle, will do no harm.
Just enjoy your life and your healthy legs, you’ll miss them for a few months :)
