Title: Flying back home. After 1 month of removal surgery with lon questions.
Post by: Beemer m3 on October 11, 2023, 05:04:38 AM
I'm planning to fly back home with in a month/30 days. I'll be on crutches the whole time . I just want to ask if I ask for wheel chair assistance at the airport will they be there will during transfer flight to Korea and will they be there at my flight home in sfo. Especially during baggage claim because I have 2 big cases I can't carry. Will they stay with me during the time I find a taxi? Anyone know let me know.

Cyborg4life did a video on this you can see here:

If you ask most surgeons leaving after 30 days is a very bad idea, and so is bringing any extra lugage except something you can carry on the plane.

Also if you leave so early how are you going to do the psychio therapy? And how will you take x'rays for your surgeon to see, while being handicapped?

I hear most people recover at 40 days. I just want to be back home. Just my luggage carried too much I can handle on my way back. Didn't realize that. But if anyone with experience with this at the airport with handicapp accommodation please let me know. It cost like $300 for x-rays in my area maybe free if I go to urgentcare with Medicare. Plan to send the doc my xray pics email.
