Was a 5 cm femur lengthening assigned to all trial participants? or was it based on your current height/femur length? or maybe something else?
-
Yes, 5cm is in papers cant do more. If trial is successfull up to 9cm will be possible.

Do you have limb lenght discrepancy or yours is a pure cosmetic surgery? I'm trying to discover if this new nail will be avaible to cosmetic limb lengthening patients
-

Yeah for real that's so lucky. I've seen other people here talk about getting on trials like this, how does one do it?
-
Yeah, he is lucky. I emailed them few times to get on trial but they never responded. May be taking only Polish patients
-
A polish fully weight bearing magnetic nail?
Never heard of that before. Lets hope it will be reliable amd safe, we trully need fully weight bearing magnetic nails now that stryde is out of the market for so much time. And generally talking the more magnetic fully weight bearing nails the better because they are way too expensive and it.is the only way to become cheaper.

Maybe the wrong place to ask but how come fitbone never went for a full weight bearing model?

On Cyborg4life channel a few doctors mentioned that fitbone are releasing a full weight bearing nail in 2024. I think the Canadian surgeon went into depth about her discussion with the fitbone rep.

Hey friend!
So how was your surgery?
Did it happen?
-
Hey buddy! I sent you PM message. I am also considering going into trial and I hope to get some information. You said you gonna update, but you didn't. But I saw you online after surgery so I hope that everything is alright! Wish you all the best and fast recovery!

I contacted a LL clinic in Poland, hoping they use Orthoget... but they don't. They use Precice.
I was wondering why they don't use it and finally I found the answer here: Because Orthoget nails are in trial...
So, this trial could take years... because they want to compete Precice nails.... and that is hard !
-
Surgery did happen as scheduled, sadly there were issues with outside service and distraction was minimal. Leg Has consolidated before lenghtened. Now its wait for legal approval for second surgery and new device.. Its exhausting
-
Distracting device not service lol, there Has been slight change sińce i wtorek it im te morning as i had Control visit but i dont want to say too much as situation is developing
-
Guys, doing trial with non experienced surgeons and with new technique which never been used... could ruin your life !
You are not mice to be an experiment...
