Hello,
https://hair-doctors.de/dr-med-axel-becker
If you cannot read German please translate it to English using Google Translator, but it says that hair transplantation surgery is offered in Freiburg im breisgau. Is this offered in the Betz Becker institute? My crown is thinning and I was planning to get it along with LL (because I can be away from people once for both procedures).
Many LL patients have said good things about him but are there any hair transplantation success stories as well here with him?

I don't get it..What kind of dogy career is this?... Beckel trained as an orthopeadic surgeon in 2015 and then he forgot all about it for 5 years and became a hair transplant surgeon(??!!). Only to return to orthopaedics a couple years ago as a limb lengthening surgeon(??!!) ...Good luck with that but i wouldn't trust my legs on a hair transplant doctor (and vice versa)

He has qualifications of
- hair transplantation and plastic surgery
- orthopedics and trauma surgery
- radiology
- laser medicine
I think it is impressive that he is good at so many fields and shows his skillset and ability to context switch. I have never heard even one complaint or complication from any of his LL patients. I also wanted to hear about any hair transplantation experiences. It would be very convenient for me to get both done in Freiburg im breisgau. The other option is to travel to Turkey for hair transplantation which I do not really want to do.

He has two "Facharzt" qualifications, think of this like two PhDs, in orthopedics and plastic surgery, in addition to working alongside Prof Betz for years (he was there during my first surgery in 2021), who is a tremendously competent man. There is arguably no better mix of formal and practical qualifications for cosmetic leg lengthening, which ultimately is a form of plastic surgery. On top of that he is still young, switched on and responsible, which is why many current patients and staff praise him.
I am not certain what expectations you have for your surgeon, if you want them to dedicate their life to LL straight out of uni, or if you prefer they learn independently rather than from an experienced LL surgeon, but as of now, with 95% of the procedure done, I see no reason to question Dr Becker (or Prof Betz).
Now, whether he still has the time to offer hair transplants, with around 50 LL patients under his care as we speak, I am not sure. Best to ask directly.

All surgeons learn from more expereinced senior surgeons, this is what specialty and sub-specialization is all about! In places like the US, UK, Germany and the like, all serious orthopedic surgeons upon completion of their specialty training they focus on building experience and sub-specializing in a specific field of orthopaedics (i.e spines, hips, shoulders, limb reconstruction etc) and not on spending 5 years doing hair transplantations!....5 years is a long time, he must have forgotten everything about orthopaedics, especiallly if he was thinking hair transplants every day all day for 5 years. Maybe he went after the easy money of hair transplants...or he was still unsure about what to do in life... or something else I don't know...It certainly looks very dodgy to me.

Good luck with giving 60k euros to someone who did hair transplants to break your legs and let you lengthen crazy amounts (10cm+) without even doing itb release.

I think he was doing both LL and hair transplantation since 2015. So it is not how you think like he just forgot one. He has probably stayed in touch with both fields and excelled in both (AND I think other cosmetic treatments). How many people are capable of doing that??

He is skilled enough to let patients lengthen to their dream height. Other surgeons are probably too timid and don't believe their own team's ability. With a world class German rehab centre and team patients can easily and safely cross the 8cm mark.

The only ones that let more than 8cm are some butchers in Turkey and India.
Anything else about this case and people who are willing to pay so much money for a doctor like him is just a joke.

You think Dr. Paley, who's very conservative with what lengthenings he allows, is "timid and doesn't believe in his own team's ability"? That's a terrible way to think about LL, it's the careful doctors who are the good ones. Sounds like a recipe to get butchered.

I have never heard even one complaint about Becker. Patients have criticised Paley but not Becker.

If Becker doesn't perform hair transplantation procedures right now, would it be safe to travel from Freiburg im breisgau to Turkey 1 month after LL?

He seems to have great refiews for his hair transplantation practice. Jameda is trustworthy site in Germany and so many 5 star reviews from 2019 to 2022 is a good sign that he is skilled in hair transplantation just as much as he is in cosmetic LL.
