Hello. We live in NYC and went to visit Dr. Rozbruch for our 15 yr old daughter. Our consultation with him was great. Any thoughts/ feedback for doing LL on a 15 yr old. She is 4"7 and the surgery would be bilateral femur for 2-3 inches in each leg. TY

She’s not done growing. It will take more than a full year to recover and she will miss out too much in school.
Let her do it when she’s finished her school. Then she’ll be 19 years old and have more spare time to waste.

I think it would be best to do it between the senior year of high school and freshman year of college. The large time gap would be enough and she can explain that she was traveling abroad or on some vacation somewhere.

If she is still growing then only external is a solution according to a doctor I have talked about that

The docs say she's done growing...

What do you mean?

Try hgh first before leg lengthening. Leg lengthening is a last resort.

Try all the Oral stuff. It works if growth plates are not fused.
Why cut open and scar the girl. Go see an endocrinologist and get hgh if you can afford it or get insurance to cover.
Get her taller by a few more inches "naturally" then CLL if unhappy.
You need to increase Growth Hormone or IGF-1. Not distraction osteogenesis.
She is 15 man. Check if the plates are fused. CLL is a last resort
