I'm really curious about this.
- If you have money, you have girls.
- If you have girlfriend/wife... you can be happy.
- If you are +50 years old... women at that age are not so shallow.

Women at all ages can be shallow. People of all ages can be shallow. Just because someone is older doesn't mean they are mature.

To begin with, everyone is shallow.
Sure people love you, such as your family. You got a stable group of friends etc...
But when it comes to it everyone is shallow. We all can feel this "status" bar in our heads. We see it in others all the time. Height is just another part of it but is signals authority more than status.
And please don't answer with "oh no it doesn't". Just read some evolutionary biology and you will see that we, unconsciously, try to find the best mate at our reach with the best genetics. Do keep in mind that some people know this because they can feel it very well. Heck you don't need to go back so far only to see that we are animals with inteligence that tries to get the best genetic composision as best as we can to spread around better and stronger genetics.

Yes of course, everyone is shallow, some more than others, but generally speaking, with age, women start valuing more other things, character, personality, money to not work so hard...
But I have read a lot of diaries of people with wife, friends, good job, etc... living a complete life, what is the point of going through such a painful, long and risky process like LL?
Even if you don't have a woman/girlfriend yet, but you are rich or have a good job, you can get materialistic women.
Are shallow women better than materialistic women? I don't think love is attached to either money or physical appearance, maybe at first sight is what motivates her to know you, but in the long term, is how you treat her and how you both get along on your day by day what will make your relationship last or not.

I think it's not related to women at that point, personally I wouldn't do it at such age, however, I see it more as a life-long desire; the holy grail to a better life. Delusional?Maybe, but the huge pros this surgery will bring in your life cannot be denied. Being 5'4" myself I know that will be a life-changing experience, when it will be my turn. I don't see it as a ticket to an ever-lasting happiness, but I'm sure it will dramatically improve my life quality, especially on the social side, it will feel like pushing a massive weight off my shoulders, a weight that often made me feel insecure, bullied and undervalued. A long-awaited release, a step towards peace of mind and soul. And ofc, chicks will be a bonus ;p
