In this way, ballerina foot would not appear even up to7.5cm tibia lengthening.
But it may also have disadvantages.
What's your opinion?

Looks fking painful... Drop foot is so easily preventable with stretching and walking. To shove more pins into your heel like that seems like it would make it so painful to walk. Even looking at this hurts.

And, you can never wear shoes either. Meaning you can't go outside. You'd be stuck in your hospital/room for months. I don't like the idea.

Its not the same foot drop and ballerina foot , you are talking about ballerina. Foot drop is caused by nerve damage.

Ah okay, I should read up on it. Really haven't heard of it before. I'm lengthened around 4-5cm now but my doctor hasn't said anything about risks.

Then again my doctor doesn't tell me anything.

This is one complication I’m scared of. No idea how common foot drop is. From what I’ve read it’s very difficult to treat and sometimes it seems it can’t be fully treated. No idea how you can try to prevent it.

Need to choose a good doctor to prevent drop foot
Never go to Russia where a few drop foot cases are reported last year even only on this forum
There can be much more complications hidden since most patients don’t write diaries

It seems ATL surgery was done
ATL is not recommend by many decent doctors
