Hi everyone
First time posting, sorry if I make mistakes
Im 1.5m, I did the operation on my femurs about a months ago, with the precice nail 2.2
I am not doing this in the US, and am trying to be anonymous as much as possible until the treatment is done.
My questions is - after I was led to believe that the process will add 8cm to my height, after the operation the doctor started insisting I only do 5 cm and then wait for a year, after which I will again have my legs broken and add 3 cm. The rational is that it will reduce risk of arthritis.
Is this a common practice? I am very much against it as it will force me to go through the whole process again which I would very much like to avoid.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

What kind of soft tissue manipulation did doctor do in the initial surgery,
such as IT band release, bicep tendon release, etc?

If your doctor hasn’t done soft tissue surgeries when inserting nails, it’s almost impossible to lengthen more than 5cm without complications.
I know all American doctors and Dr Lee do soft tissue lengthening surgeries.
But some CLL doctors in other countries, they aren’t good at doing it.
