Hi people,
i am a 158cm tall male and wanna reach at least 170cm within 2 surgeries.
Do you think it's ok or just a stupid idea.
proportions:
overall height = 158cm
outer leg length = 85cm
inner leg length = 69cm
from bottom to shoulder = 131cm
arm span = 160cm
sitting height = 85 - 90cm
torso seems slightly longer than legs

You could do it. Tibia and internal femur. And listen to your body to stop when necessary

What do you think are the best lengthening-proportions to keep biomechanics, 5cm to tibia and 7cm femur or more like 50/50. Will I suffer from a decrease in athletic abilities?
And which one should i first lengthen tibia or femur?

I know people talk about proportions a lot (legs to torso), but I find that somewhat redundant. Many tall people I know have small torsos and very long legs. It's quite common IMO. The bigger issue is that all of these taller people have larger hands, larger feet, longer arms, and just larger frames in general. I think it depends on why you want to lengthen to begin with to decide how much you should increase. If you just want to fit in, in society -- it's fine. No one will REALLY notice. But if you're doing it for personal reasons (like dating) -- they may be more apt to notice you still have tiny hands and feet, etc.

Hi, I'm 158 too but i'm aiming only for a 6/7 cm increase in my femur. Starting to plan my CLL now and hoping to get in done in next 3 years

I wouldn't care about proportions. Most importantly is general height.

I think you can do it. My natural height is around 161cm and i did 9cm on my femurs.
Your biggest benefit is your sitting height in my opinion.
