Would like to suggest that we have a section to talk about things like movies, video games, fitness, relationship and other life topic of that nature, not related to LL. Are people interested in this?
P.S I know the name is not the greatest. So suggest one.

Yea, but the off topic section seem to be about the "non Medical Aspect" of LL, like Height related and old forum stuff.
Perhaps people wouldn't feel good posting there, as it'll be scatter among those topics.

I haven't ever seen the need to purchase an Ipad. I mean I have my laptop and a Galaxy S3. Is an iPad really worth a purchase? I'm just not sure how it's much different than a laptop. As an aside, I remember Microsoft released a tablet device years ago but it failed miserably. Guess it wasn't stylish enough :D

It is pretty neat, I've never been so happy with a phone. I know the S4 is out but I've gotten so used to the S3 I'd have a hard time switching. I've had my eyes on the Nokia Lumia 1020 for a while though. That's one cool looking phone and its picture quality is amazing.

The thing that really annoys me with my Lumia (and they are great phones btw) is the damn buttons on the side.
The lock button is right where your middle finger wrap around the handset when using your left and the base of your thumb if using your right. So as a result you can find yourself locking the phone during use. It is not crippling but it is annoying.

I have been thinking of getting a smartphone (yes I never used one), since I've been happy just using my "dumbphone" to just text and talk. Is it worth it to get a smartphone and LTE ?

I got an unlimited plan and watch my movies on my phones now primarily. If you get a new phone you should go Android rather than Apple. They're generally cheaper and don't have Apple's awful restrictions like not letting you use Adobe Flash.

It doesn't work.
I just went to Profile > Forum Profile > Mark 'Upload an avatar' > pick picture from desktop > hit change profile
Did you do that and it's giving you the error anyway?

I only use my iPhone but i figured it didn't work so I tried it with my laptop.
Guess you can't do everything with the phone ;D

That;s the Nokia Lumia 1320 and 1520, both have 6 inch screen which bring them into that "phablet" category..
Iphone is not my thing either, the 4 inch screen look small nowadays.
So my preference is Andorid > Windows > IOS

Ah, those would be too large to be convenient for me. The 920 and 1020 both seem really cool though.

What is really awesome that I almost missed is: Tgey just released iPhone 5S RIGHT NOW here in Sweden. ;D
I would never know if I didn't checked the latest phones a minute ago. It costs $1.000 for the 16GIG.
Anyway, I have to wait until December, then I had my 4S in 2 years exactly. This time I'm going to cash the phone. It's always better.

No matter how hi-tech things get, I'll always have a fondness for the old stuff. I still have an extra computer running Windows 95 where I play old computer games on floppy disks. Ski Free remains fun to this day, though I still can't last long before the abominable snowman eats the unsuspecting skier :/

I got Android Smartphone recently, let me tell you guys, I kick myself for not buying one earlier! It's so cool and useful. Now I'm thinking to buy tablet too.
