Kon'nichiwa To all
Arrived in India on 14 april 11:00pm. Harry came to receive. Slept curiously for the big day. Next day went to hospital to meet Dr. Pradip Sharma. Assessment and Routine checkups done under him.
Pre-op height :- 158.6cm
Age: 32
Nationality:- japanese
Desired height:- 5cm
Contacted person:-Harry
Admitted in hospital on 15 april evening. PAC done on same evening. Took me to surgery next morning 10:00am.
That took almost 4 hours.
Anaesthesia used:- Epidural for two days
First thing i remember after surgery when i shifted to ICU for recovery Harry came and checked my feets, sensations and movements. sensations were fine but one of my feet (left) wast not moving like the right one. He stayed with me for quite some time.
Next day shifted me to room and one care taker was there in night. Next morning Dr came and checked and explained because of epidural feet wasn't moving well but that day those were fine and movement was good.
Didn't had much of pain. On the Fifth day i discharged from the Hospital and shifted to the guest house. One care taker was provided on the same day.
Not liking the Indian food much but they are giving me varieties of choices. Moving around with the help of rolling chair and wheelchair. Not felling much of pain. keeping my feets in strapped kind of sandals to prevent tightness. From today i started the lengthening of course by Dr P. Sharma and Harry (with blue marker). They taught me how to lengthen for further.

HI,
The price was 15000$USD but because I am here only for two months I paid 14000$USD which includes everything (surgery accommodation, food, caretaker, physical therapy).

Price is fine yes.
I am trying as much possible but not sure for extending my stay. So I am anticipating max in limited time.

I was Born as a Female and I had my sex reassignment surgery in 2012 so the Doctors used my extra bone for some reconstruction procedures. Now I am living life as a healthy and happy man.

As i quote earlier cost was 15000$USD, but i paid 14000$USD for surgery and two months of stay.

Good morning

Around 1.1cm i turned. Pain is there in my right leg but after painkiller injection that settle down.

Feeling depressed. Wasn't aware this is going to be too hard, only thing keeps running in my mind is to go home. Level of depression is overreaching in my head. Missing family, my kids.
yesterday stitches removed by a nurse. He cleaned the pin sight. And had to take a painkiller.
Harry was saying may tomorrow or day after tomorrow the x-ray will be done.

I understand your feeling. I've done that with separation from my family, although they came a couple of time for a short visit. Most of time, I was alone and battling pain and loneliness. At least I was lucky to meet some good patients and became friends. That helped a lot. But still I was alone most of time. Pain was getting bigger and bigger and the journey seemed to be endless for a long time. But the dark tunnel of this journey will still have an end. You will see the light coming in soon.
Stay strong and positive and focus on what you have planned. What you gain from this journey will remain with you forever.

Gone for a while, hmm well Nothing is so different or anticipated.Pain is still playing with my brain. Day before yesterday went out for a change, Harry took me to the place called INDIA GATE, it was nice. Stayed there for couple of hours. Felt good for some time but still not have much to instigate.

I lengthening 3.9 cm so reach my target almost.Have 2cm ballerina but after stand 10-15 min my neels touch the floor ,pins are very tight now and shin pain is there i am taking painkiller twice a day . Hopefully end of the next week
my freme would be remove.

Service is good they people are experienced and know how to take care of patient. And i want to say harry really care about his patients.
Lengthening with the combination of intramedullary nail (LON) entails locking the nail at the increase length at the end of the distraction or complete desire height, you can remove the frame ( external fixator) you don't have to wear from for long time, or LON will work as a straight track so your bone also become straight during lengthening. This is all i know if you want to know more contact harry.

I don’t know why people even bother, can you really feel a difference at 4cm? Like that’s an inch and half more or less, it’s marginal

I am in continuous conversation with Harry , whenever i need to ask i can talk to him directly. My callus condition is already good.
Xray is pending.

Recovery is going good, doing all the exercises. Next X-ray will reveal the actual status of callus. Morning i walk with assistance because of pain and discomfort, rest of the day is fine.

You sound like you're doing really well congrats. In fact, for saying you had surgery April the 16th, your recovery seems to be one the best I've seen after just over 2 months. Could you clarify your current mobility - you say you are walking 'with assistance', is this with crutches, a walker?

I am not fully recovered yet, still working on that. I am walking with walker in morning for a lilttle but not the whole day. I am trying to walk without anything in day time but not much.

All well but they told me to be careful with the new callus, and gentle with the activity because there are still chances to get it disturbed. Time seems to stop when you are not your 100%,eagerly waiting for the green zone when i will be able to start a more than normal routine.
