It appears that some doctors do not recommend a certain age for them to allow you to do this surgery in order to avoid the risk of osteoporosis.

This is just an assumption, but perhaps after your bones have fused and as long as you do not have some pre existing condition or ailment that would hinder your success post op. so like.. past 19 years of age?

I haven't heard of an age limit. Jungle was in his 40s when he did 3 LL surgeries.
