Title: At 5'6", I feel like in a similar predicament as Tom Cruise in height department
Post by: .. on January 14, 2018, 07:40:36 AM
Yes, at 5'8", he's physically about 2" taller than me, probably even a tad more. But with him being 2-3" shorter than an average white male of 5'10"-5'10", he's in a similar boat as me who's also about 2" shorter than an average Asian male nowadays of 5'8".

Thinking about it always makes me feel a little bit better about my height.

It's good to see that you are starting to think more positive even if it's just a bit, it's a step in the right direction

Stop creating new topics about how you feel every day.
Accept yourself or do LL, but don't create tenths of topics without any reason to exist at all!

Nah I've been thinking like this all these years. It helped a bit at times, but most of the time, it's full of pain.

Ha. Not everyday. I can't remember when my last "personal thread" was.

sometimes this website is not accurate - don't forget it's just an estimation
I hardly imagine someone like Cruise taller than me (I'm a bit over 173 at my best/morning)
and I have to say that Rob looks short for a 5-8 guy
maybe it's just because people in the USA are way taller, but I don't think so

Cruise is most likely 5'7 or just under it.

And don't feel bad: 5'6 seems pretty normal variation for an Asian male, depending on background, unless your parents are tall.

Asians are not known for being tall. So at 5 6 you don't stick out.

Yeah, my father and my sisters are tall.

What about your mother?

It sucks, but that could explain it. Just like in my case.
