Title: 181 cm to 185-186, have a few questions
Post by: Ostentician on June 01, 2020, 05:56:41 PM
Hey guys. I'm planning on doing LL to go from 181 cm to 185 or 186 and I have a few questions.

1) My wingspan is 179 cm. Would 185 look disproportionate?
2) My legs are already relatively long (Around 104-105 cm to my pelvic bone). Would 4-5 cm more make me look weird?
3) Do you think having large feet would help after LL? I know this is sort of a silly question, but I have really big and large feet. I think they could really help me with walking and the load-bearing of my new legs, as they are disproportionately wide & large.
4) Will I look very thin & skinny after my surgery? I have broad shoulders and a thick neck, so I think that would help with my new proportions.

Thanks for all of your messages in advance.

1) It's Ok
2) This measure seems to be long. Do you mean inseam? Or maybe you have mesured something else?
3) I think it's not influential
4) Having broad shoulders is definitely better

For my legs I measured from the bottom of my foot to the top of my pelvis bone. My inseam is 80 cm, give or take 2-3 cm.

This is quite interesting, I am roughly 171.5cm to 172cm with a wingspan of 181.5cm. And I have been worrying that getting to 180cm would make me look disproportionate.

If I may ask, how can you have broad shoulders and still have a wingspan less your height? Are you sure that your wingspan measurement is correct?

What trouser/pant length do you wear?

Anyone on limblengthening forums who is 175+ needs to see a psychiatrist and not a LL surgeon
