Title: ¿ list of people who have done femur + tibia lenghtening ?
Post by: kumbaya on June 17, 2020, 07:39:03 PM

Hello everyone,

I am exactly 5.4 ( 162.5 cm), 172 cm wingpsan.
Currently saving for CLL procedure (2021), would love to reach 175 cm, which is feasible staying within the limit of the 2 surgeries ( 7 cm femur + 5 cm tibia).

On the forum I have seen only 3 users who have made both procedures: Meck, JFK and Myevolution
However I yet haven't seen these users post about their final outcome ( Meck is still recovering) but the other two abruptly stopped posting.

¿Are you aware of any other people who have done both lenghtenings?
¿  If money / time where not a constriction do you think it would be more widespread or do you think doing both segments will definitely screw your body / proportions?

The successful:
OverrideYourGenetics (Precice 2 simultaneous quadrilaterals with Paley)
Iamready (Precice sequential quadrilaterals with Paley)
Jim_dabarber (cross lengthening with Kulesh and Solomon)
ShortLivesMatter (2 seperate surgeries with like a 18 month gap with Rozbruch)

The bad:
Overdozer (cross lengthening with Kulesh and Solomon) - probably crippled? someone said he had major issues and he didn't refute it so..
Android (cross lengthening with Kulesh and Solomon) - currently crippled with a nerve injury, he was a nice guy also. instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/android_cll/?hl=en
 (https://www.instagram.com/android_cll/?hl=en)
summary: dont do cross lengthening lol

Thanks for sharing the list.

I had seen Android diary, but he as well stopped posting, his instagram has not been active since last year.
Overdozer as well stopper writting his diary, its really weird.

I really appreciate if anyone else has more stories about cross lenghtening.

I did both segments, but I did them at separate times.  This is my recommendation if you want to really get a lot of length out of it.

Thanks for your reply.
I did a search on yours posts and did not find any diary, did you wrote one?

Can you tell me your starting and ending height. On what step of recovery are you currently and how do you feel about your proportions?

Check out MyEvolution, he also successfully did both segments he did Femurs first, then about a year after he did Tibias with Paley! pretty cool diary and dude.

Hi former, ik this is greedy but how feasible do you think if I take a 4 month gap (so like the second surgery a month after finishing distraction) between surgeries for quadrilaterals instead of 1 year? I understand 1 year minimum is optimal and 3 weeks apart is very difficult but what about 4 or 5 months apart?

I am greedy but personally I'm thinking about taking a year off my entire life solely, and don't want to be like OYG and suffer and give up early, but at the same time I want to get this   over with in a year instead of being like you and coming back..

Does Paley even allow this short of a break? Iamready did something similar to this right? If Paley allows you to do a 3 week break, then 4 or 5 month break should be fine between the main surgeries eh?

Thank you, I read both, but its not up to date. And nowhere it mentions injury or nerve damage

Part of the reason most recommend this kind of gap for people looking to get a lot out of it is that it gives time for your muscles to recover and be able to stretch further.  If you're not going to do that, you need to make sure you stretch like a madman and hope for the best.

Literally the most recent two posts on his ig are about nerve injury.

Add Optimistic1 to the list. He did simultaneous quadrilaterals and gained like 5.5 or 6 inches.

Hello, I did both.

If you want to maximize your chances of achieving 8cm femurs and 8cm Tibias you have to prestretch and also wait at least a year in between procedures.

Having said this, 8cm is easier to achieve on femur than it is Tibias.  When I was at Paley, most people could get 8cm and most only 4-6cm for Tibias.

Good luck!!

I did tibias at Paley recently and they had clamped down on people trying to go past 5cm on tibias.
