Ok so im planning on going to dr solomin in russia to do 5cm femur and 5cm tibia. Any thoughts?

Cross lengthening I will not recommend. The last guy who did it got drop foot and couldn't flex his ankle for a year, essentially crippled for a long time and only is now recovering slowly. He damaged his nerves. Cross lengthening is really risky, even compared to LL standards.

Is it a rare occurence or a actual common risk? So doing both the tibia and femur is dangerous? Thanks for ur insight

It's definitely a risk. It's not exactly common, but the risk is much higher in people who do both tibia and femur very fast together.
Doing both segments is much less dangerous if you do them separately, like a year in between. The risks of this safer way is much much less, and there's less suffering at the moment. Solomon does cross lengthening which results in a very quick lengthening that is much more dangerous than a normal procedure. By the time you're done with the first external fixators, you're already onto the second. Your body has no time to heal, and you can imagine how rough that would be. And if you lengthen fast like Solomon does you can certainly damage your nerve.

Oh yeah he told me to be safe 3-6 months of waiting before the other segment. Also what are the chances to your knowledge of this occuring if done at the same time.

It's not a good idea, not even because of this but because it's very difficult for the body and mind.
