Title: Are we nearer to growth plate restoration?

“What has me and many others so excited about the HYALEX® cartilage solution is that we’ve taken a different approach and engineered a new materials platform from the ground up, that is designed to mimic the properties of native hyaline cartilage.”

Thanks, Antoine for all the efforts u put keeping us updated on the alternatives... So grateful to you...
I tried to register for the zoom shared in the article but my timezone made this infeasible.
HYALEX® cartilage platform - seems related to the injuries and disease but CLL can benefit from this or not, I will be curious to know... Please keep us posted on this( if possible )

Many thanks again and best regards,

You’re very welcome dear AnotherShorty, it’s a pleasure for me. I’ll surely keep you posted.
Although they’re related to injuries and disease, HYALEX® and other similar products show that we’re able to create artificial hyaline cartilage and implant it into a human being. Since growth plates are made of hyaline cartilage, this is another step forward in growth plate restoration.

Thank you AnotherShorty, very interesting link.
I think this technology by itself isn’t adequate to restore growth plates and lengthen limbs, but it could be used together with other technologies in order to make this possible, since HYALEX® mimics the properties of native hyaline cartilage.

Hi Antoine,

Yeah, bummer!!! Hopefully with LIPUS tech and these growth plates ... we shall achieve  the limb lengthening but seems like this is at least 10-12 years away .... but I always believe in miracles and won't be shocked if this tech comes sooner than later... keep us posted if you come across such amazing news ...

Thanks again...

Hi AnotherShorty,
yeah, we just can’t tell. Sometimes a simple small detail brings to big breakthroughs, so a new technology can come tomorrow, or within 5 years, or within 15 years, or it can’t come.
I think we’re just nearer and nearer to this new technology. For example, if scientists find a way to make HYALEX work as an artificial growth plate via stem cells, non-surgical limb lengthening wouldn’t be impossible anymore. Also LIPUS, as you said, is very promising. For these reasons, I guess we can be cautiously optimistic about the future.
I’ll keep you posted if something is moving.

Nearer but never see it says hello to us not only because of developing but also funds
