I heard that in general races respond different to the LL and recovery stage. is it alright to discuss this?

i read somewhere that even LL doctors acknowledge there are slight differents between caucasians and east asian bones; i believe east asian bones are more hollow (?)

Never heard of that, but east asian bones tend to be more curved (bow legs) which is not a problem to correct during LL.

East, Southeast (and probably South) Asians tend to have thinner bones on average, which can be a problem for intramedullary nailing.

Here's a post from Guichet (http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=3362.msg52090#msg52090), of all people, on it.

Ctrl + F "Asiatic" in that link.

I don't think  race effects anything about LL. But everyone's recovery is different

Mylogin is right, race effects type of bone and bone formation. Non union is typical for East Asia patients. I met some.
