Title: my proportion-10cm femur test
Post by: 6'2_dream on September 21, 2018, 04:37:09 PM
the proportion of my femur and tibia is 42cm-42cm which is 50% -50%.
What is interesting is that with 10cm in the femur I would be relatively normal,
note the mark in Feet and meters on the side of the image.
What do you think?

Do an 8cm mock-up as this will be more realistic so you can see what is actually gonna happen.

It looks good no one would assume you’ve had LL done so I’m assuming your goal height is 6’2 then judging by your name that is

Theres no way both femur and tibia are the same length. Just me measuring your picture femur and tibia the measurements arent the same.

do 6-8 is better than 10.

You can pull it off easy, especially with your segment ratio already being even.

Believe me I've even had an orthopedist recently when I had an inflammation in the quadriceps muscle, it was 42.8 - 43.2 a ratio practically 50% -50% and this is not uncommon he stated that there are variations of femur: tibia-50: 50 , until tibia of 80% the size of the femur

yes it's just a test, and as my femur is short even with 10cm I would appear to be quite natural
but of course the most realistic are 8cm even 10cm could be disaster, I would be satisfied with 7.5cm-8cm and would be at 1.85 - 6'1.

7.5-8cm on femurs alone? 10cm would be pretty extreme.

yes it would make 7.5 or 8cm only in the femures, because for my current hanatomy would be the most appropriate since my tibia / fibula are already big .... really 10cm would be too extreme to lengthen the femur

You could even do more, you look more normal in the after pic then before.
