Achilles tendon lengthening

For those who have lengthened their tibia if you didn't do Achilles lengthening do you have to always stretch to maintain flexibility forever after lengthening or does your body just naturally stretch you Achilles permanently?

What are your thoughts on the idea that Achilles tendon lengthening (70% of the patients), after 3-5 cm of lengthening?

My Achilles naturally stretched permanently.

I don't think the surgery is necessary after 3-5cm of lengthening unless you're really, really inflexible to begin with.
