I just want to know if muscle shortening surgery decreases muscle strength the way it does with muscle lengthening surgery.

If you have a leg length discrepancy, lengthen the shorter one

If you're tall, just keep your height

There was a transwoman in the forum who wanted to do limb shortening to get a more "feminine" stature.

It doesn’t say that it’s permanent though or does it? I’m pretty sure limb lengthening however does lead to permanent strength loss though right?
