Wow--that's a great price.

The price is dirt cheap. Even my clinic charges 6500 euros, which is about 8000 USD? This is half-price. A good price.

The big thing that bothers me about this place is that it practices reflexology--a conformed pseudo-science.

So on their services page they show they have a whole alternative medicine section...
Alternative Medicine
Aroma Therapy
Acupressure
Homoeopathy
Meditation
Naturopathy
Reflexology
Yoga

Doesn't seem like a bad thing. I know a lot of Asians are into the alternative medicine thing because they don't trust western medicine. Maybe they have a lot of Asians customers or maybe there are also a lot of Indians that way too. It's cool that they have yoga and meditation services.

Wow, I was strongly advised to stay away from India, but looking at the price and their website, the ISIC seems to be even more compelling than the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center :o

Some Quotes from their website about their philosophy and international patients:

Quote
"Our objective is to restore hope and joy in the heart of every patient, give them a life worth living and enabling them to conquer the summit of the mind"
"We take pride in welcoming all our overseas patients as our very special guests and make very effort to make them feel at home"
"Over 200,000 patients from over 55 countries"
"First world care, third world cost"

So, what do you guys think about the ISIC in 2016?

Yes, with "all 4 segments" I meant femur and tibia.
They don't seem to have different prices for Indians and Westerners, since there is not that much medical tourism.
I'm probably changing that right now, because I'm posting it on the internet :P

Yea, when I had my consultation with them, everything was "could". This could be, that could happen, but pain was the only thing they said will be :-X
Maybe Dr. Mitkovic will save all of us poor folks from excessive femur pain by 2018  ;D

I'm thinking i may go with these come the end of 2017 or Late September - Looking for realistically 4-5CM gain to minimise Length of recovery and stay.
I'm confused as to how you would go about planning all of this - where do you actually start?

WARNING

Do NOT go to the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (ISIC)

The ISIC has great prices, friendly staff, okay-ish facilities by western standards and the doctors give a professional first impression.
But in reality, they have no idea what they are doing!
I was desperate, blind and I went there to have my surgery with Dr. Deepak Raina and his team of other surgeons.
In the end, THEY BUTCHERED MY LEGS, clearly not knowing how to do LL properly.

This is embarrassing to me, because at first, I even defended team Deepak due to my initial euphoria, but now I can't live with the idea that others might run into the same trap.

As a proof to future readers, my diary can be found here:
http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=4049.0

This will show you how team Deepak did so many mistakes, that it should be clear to you, that you will not be an exception if you have your surgery with them.
They probably wouldn't even make it trough medical school in Europe or America with their knowledge and skills.

There are other affordable and reputable doctors in Russia and Serbia. Go there instead.

Ps: I'm not going to discuss this topic anymore, but if someone really has an important question, they can drop me a PM.
