5'10 1/2 -1m79
« on: September 02, 2016, 03:45:17 AM »

Hey guys,
I got a friend who is around this height and telling me that he feels like a midget Lol
I told him straight up that its bull , its his freaking delusional mind that makes him feel short. He comes back at me saying that even Asian guys are taller than him these days Lol

We both live in US. Question is where do you think someone with that height will stand in a group of 20 people.
Age is anywhere from 25-40 years old.

You will be taller than 63 per cent, so basically you will be in 15 or 14 place, 13 behind you and 6 in front of you.i think your friend is exaggerating, maybe he is not measuring himself properly and is 177.

I do think that at that height you will be at the very least average.
1/3 taller than you
1/3 = you
1/3 shorter than you.

what are threads like this good for remind me? To tell the guys below 5'6 that even LL won't save them from "shorthood"?

There is an ongoing internet thing about this "sexiest doctor alive". I remember that I checked his height, and it was written that he is 5'10. If your friend feels unattractive at 179 and blames it on height, maybe he should ask other people besides his mother on how he looks no?

A lot of people recently started to live in Canberra.

5'10 is a height that i will achieve after lengthening both segments... some people christ.

Seriously there is so many "short" and attractive guys around like Tom Hardy or even Johnny Depp.

He just has confirmation bias is all. Plus, he has nothing to really worry about. He's not tall, and he's not short. He won't stand out, which is just fine.

In my observation Asian guys especially Chinese are taller these years.

Recently I went on flights and most of the Chinese guys are taller than 175 cm. Most of them when they stood up were about the same height or even a little bit taller than white people on flights. Their legs are much shorter than their torso however, which makes them look not as tall.

I am 181.5 cm and my two Chinese roommates are both taller than me :/

I even observed something very funny. When we all sit down, two Korean guys sitting in front of us looked much taller than us; their sitting heights were about half a head taller than us. However when we all stood up, they were actually half a head shorter than us lol
