Swimming during the lengthening phase (Internal Femurs)

Would I benefit from swimming a lot during the distraction/lengthening phase while doing Interal Femurs with the Precice 2?
I've read in the diaries here about stationery bikes being a very good way to relieve tightness, but how does swimming stack up?

During my lengthening, I'll most probably be staying in a hotel so I thought if I found a hotel with a swimming pool, it'd be a good way to aid in recovery.

Also, how many days after surgery can swimming start?
