Story:
"Diane is a well-known lawyer, divorced for three years.
She loses her mobile telephone and receives a call from the person who finds it.
That person is Alexandre, a charming man and the perfect gentleman.
They make a connection over the phone and agree to meet up the following day.
But when Alexandre arrives, there's a surprise in store when Diane discovers he is only 4' 6" tall.
From that moment on, Diane tries to overcome the prejudices of society and her own fears to experience the best time of her life..."

That's what Alu said.  Even if the popular perception is that he is too short for her, a small percentage of the population thinks otherwise.  You gotta do whatever makes you happy, even if it means being a couple that challenges traditional and popular relationship norms.

Yeah but it would take a specially strong minded man. Not every man would be up to that task, imagine someone joking that she will cary you on your wedding night. :-[

I'm not one of those strong minded men, but there are actually guys out there who genuinely aren't affected by that.  It's just the way they are wired.

Its funny that the main actor, Jean Dujardin, actually is 6"0, even movies dont go for a short actor. :O

That's a pretty dumb reason. You would not marry the love of your life because someone would make jokes at your wedding? Get your priorities straight.

It's the same thing as when woman doesn't want to date shorter guy because people will talk.

Like seriously, if you care more about public opinion than an actual person then you probably deserve nobody, or someone who will treat you similar way.
