Thank you for contacting SYNOSTE!  Unfortunately this 3rd Generation system is not yet commercially available. We are entering the next phase of clinical evaluation so we anticipate availability only at the end of 2018. I am so sorry. I understand that this may be too late for your immediate need.

To answer your question – we recommend a maximum 7cms of lengthening at any one time. While the bone can technically grow more, the reality is muscle, tendons, nerves, and other soft tissue also have to be lengthened and they should not be overdone.

Anyway sorry we cannot help you at this moment, nevertheless, we wish you all the best.

I'm glad to hear such things and going to wait until this new and safe technology gonna be ready cause i dont need LL right know and of course have a time to make some money

Wow this would surely be a benefit to future LL'ers! 2 years is not that far away! I wonder what the costs would be.. and how much different it is from the Precise nail.

Its essentially the same thing as precice. Both lengthen by magnetic fields

Really intrigued and looking forward to surgery with the Synoste technology. From what I have read and spoken with them- they will not be conducting surgeries, as they are only device and technology manufacturers. Does anyone have any idea about their launch into the market?
Also- which hospitals/doctors will they be tying up with the start off after they finish clinical trials?

He didn't really have valuable information according to Korean writing.  He just thinks Synoste will be the smilar price as Precice.  Anyway, hopefully Synoste will be available on the market soon.

Stop asking us about Synoste.
This nail hasn't came out to market and we don't even know if it will, so we don't have any specific information about it.
After all in about a year precise 3 will come out which will be full weight bearing so personally I don't think synoste, which is manufactured from a company that has not any experience in orthopaedic nails, will offer anything more than the new precise. Maybe if the 2 nails are equivalent the competition will help to a price reduction. Thats all we can benefit from synoste, nothing else compare to precise 3.

also I know you're a mod and all (thanks btw, you've given me info before that really opened my eyes) but let the ppl ask questions, not everyone can read English fluently and need others to resummarize the information, its not harming anyone. this is the only post (I've seen) on synoste, and its only 1 page long?
