Nonunion
« on: June 17, 2019, 02:34:05 PM »

There was a post by a user that had recently gotten into this issue. It’s seems pretty scary. Based on their words it was probably the doctors fault during surgery cutting the bone a little too high. Could it also happen regardless of the surgeons skill. It seems that the way to prevent this is to walk and do a lot of pt during the entire procedure to prevent nonunion from happening. Are there any other suggestions to prevent nonunion and encourage bone growth? I’d assume the basics are to have a good diet and exercise to get the best result.
