Alright so obviously "if your doc says so"

But I mean it though. Are there any symptoms that are signs that fat embolism is about to happen? Ones that would make you more wary/cautious/able to go to the hospital at a moment's notice ?

Or is this generally something that only happens in surgery?

There's a thread about a Guichet patient who had some symptoms, didn't go the hospital, and died. I'm trying to get a sense of which symptoms are important to go to the hospital for and which are just regular pain of LL.

Guichet case is weird. It usually happens when you are still at hospital. Oxygen drop, lack of breath...
