Femur or Tibia Lengthening
« on: November 10, 2019, 09:23:54 PM »

Hello Guys,

Im still not sure for which segment i should go for LL. Here are my ratios:

Femur: 46 cm
Tibia : 38 cm

Both are exactly messed on x-rays. So my femur/tibia ratio is arround 0.82.

I did some mockups

Femur +6cm : https://imgur.com/a/kL0IJ9A

Tibia +5 cm :  https://imgur.com/a/TGc9S6c

What do you think looks better ? Thx for help.

In this photo, femurs look better, but tibias also look good.
What is your height / wingspan / sitting height?

How are you able to do mock ups to 3 inches via femurs or tibias?

What software ya’ll use and tutorial name for this type of adjustment?

I followed one technique when i had to make some mockup for myself, i first measured height of my body in pixels ( i used gimp you can do same in photoshop too) and then divide your pixel height to your height in cm you'll get value X which will tell you how many pixels represent one cm in that particular picture, now extrude your femur part of pic or tibia part for amount you desire, for 5cm you have to extrude 5*X(value you calculated before)

Might sound complicated but it be intuitive once you put yourself to doing it

86/173 ~ 0.497. This is very different from my ratio (92 / 172.5 ~ 0.533) Do you have long legs? What’s your inseam, if you know?

yes i had very long legs compared to my torso. inseam i dont remember accurately before the surgery but after the surgery it was 92cm and i added 5cm to tibias.
