Stryde Nail Update?

Has anyone received any news in regards to Stryde nail coming back to the market?

Are patients who aren’t aware of the recall and still have their nails in at severe risk?

Not at severe risk at all.

The reports of “stryde may be causing cancer” are bogus… the effect of corrosion in the body are well known from the joint replacement litterature. Cancer is not a risk.

all biological reactions seen were self limiting, meaning they have stopped when bones were fully healed.

we still recommend removal of the implants .
