curved bone after full healing?

I've noticed in some x-rays that after a device is removed and the bone has completely healed the new bone seems to be curved. Take this picture for example
Is this normal?
Does it affect mobility?

It will undergo tissue remodeling over time and straighten out.

Yes, I don't know how the body keeps "memory" but if the curvature or change is only local and doesn't affect extremities, the bone will redesign itself, under normal and usual circumstances. We have inteligent bones, just shouldn't abuse! :-)

This x-ray was taken 8 years after the patient's bone had consolidated. How long does this tissue remodeling take? Do you know of any x-ray images that show a completely straightened out bone after CLL? thanks

Yeah, I'd expect it to be finished remodeling after eight years.

One other thing to consider is what it looks like from other perspectives.  I've seen x-ray pairs where it looks like there's something weird going on but the other x-ray, 90 degrees away, doesn't show what you'd expect it to.

That is not a curve. Many times where the bone was broken for lengthening the new bone is thicker there and stays like that forever (remodelling stops after full consolidation). But it doesn't cause any problem and may even make the bone stronger than it was.

I didn't know it was 8 years old. So remodelling is done. But in fact I don't see any curvature of the bone one extremity to the other, like some rotation. It's just a "callus" not as "nice" as others,  but what matters is its density and tisssue structure. The greater sickness won't trouble you in anything. If you want to be reassured ask an orthopedician to evaluate the other parameters.
