Percussion massage gun

Have any LLers used this during distraction/rehab?  It seems like it would be a very helpful tool to loosen stiff muscles, but it is rarely ever mentioned on this website.  Any opinions/experience would be greatly appreciated

I have one of these and thought about it. A hot bath and a massage gun after will loosen any stiffness, but I'm not sure about the consequences it can have, maybe it loosens the device or damages the bone where the nails are. Would be good to see some studies on it
