Is it better to lengthen tibias for weightlifting?

I want to be taller, but I really want to continue to increase my records on all three lifts (bench, deadlift, squat). If I did only 5cm in the tibias, could I continue lifting with the same performance?

You likely should be prepared to give up all your athletical abilities for LL. If you are able to return to it, consider it a bonus.

Even in weightlifting? I've read over there that only increasing the length of the femur is what causes the level to decrease.

I never really mind giving up my other athletic skills except for strength. In itself, in powerlifting it is necessary to gain a lot of body weight and stop being functional in other areas such as speed or resistance.

And also, although I know that things can change, I only intend to lengthen 5cm which is supposed to be the limit for the tibias, and now, I really don't want to increase my femur

It varies person to person but from what I’ve seen on the forum whenever you do LL you essentially lose that top 5% of strength and explosiveness etc.
I’m sure you would get close to the level as now but doubt you would break any new records

I think you'll be fine if you do tibias.  My raw strength hasn't suffered any.

bro, some people cant ever run again nor go on longer walks. You re lucky if you ll be able to play basketball again.
LL cripples you a little bit and thats why you loose some of your athletism.
If you want to keep doing your   u gotta think twice.

Longer tibias (and legs generally) after LL means worse gravity and flexibility. Also.you should bend more because your hands remain the same length so with longer feet doing some exercises will be harder, especially grabing and leaving the weights (on deadlifts for instance).
So LL won't help you but you could still work out hard if things go well.
If you are not a professional then you wom't have any problem.
