What is the maximum safe limit for femurs?

It 100% depends on the patient and the surgeons assessment. Some have to stop at 6 cm and some can do the full 8 cm safely. However many surgeons have come to the conclusion that for the average patient 6-7 cm (including cyborg4life) for most patients on the femurs seems to be the sweet spot between risk and reward. However this depends on alot of factors but usually the defining factor except flexibility is your starting height. The taller you are the more you can safely gain unfortunately.
