I am 5’9 at 17, is the surgery worth it?

What are the bad side effects you can have from it and how common are they. Anyone regret doing the surgery after doing it? I would want to grow 6 inches more but im not sure if thats too much or if it could be dangerous. At what point is it dangerous?

6 inches is really crazy for being 5'9. if your going to do it at all do 3'. however id think if your really thinking if the surgery is worth it for you then it probably isn't. LL isn't fun and games. but being short isn't either.

but I do really feel anyone who truly needs LL isn't questioning if they need it.

At 5’9 your movement on the bell curve isn’t very extreme. Really, the only benefit for you would be physiological.

At 5‘9 you’re taller than most people. So if you ask me you’re chilling, no need to undergo a painful process of breaking your bones in your legs and stretching them and then paying the doctor 50k€ to do it and spend 1-2 years without being able to walk properly.

But if you’re ready to commit to this then I suggest you don’t do more than 2-3 inches or you will risk arthritis at an early age and many other stuff that the doctor will warn you about.

there would be noticeable dating benefits and mild social benefits but I'm unsure if thats worth it.

the first surgery is cool. 3 inch on femurs n 2 inch on tibias. but ur stretching alot of muscles and it takes along time to recover like 2-3 yrs. ur thinking its easy growing but this is a long process. bones grow back but the muscles and knees takes along time to get back to strength.

Is the tibia and femur surgery one surgery alone or is it two separate surgerys that both require 2 years of recovery?
