I'd love to be 185-188cm legit, not because I keep seeing taller people or I feel really short, but because I'd be about as tell as my old man and maybe I wouldn't feel like I've done something wrong when it comes to my nutrition. I'm starting to think the lack of vitamin D might've cucked me because I always played games, so I had almost no reason to go outside.

I consider this a decent height. Tall but not very tall. You'd be tall in most countries around the world and above average in a couple of countries in Europe. I wouldn't like to be taller than 6'1/6'2. I want to bulk easily, fit through the door and drive most of the cars on the market. Also, being taller than that can negatively impact health.

The way I see it, anything over 6 feet is too tall.

I see the perfect height as 5'11. You could travel even to short countries without feeling like a freak, while still not being considered short anywhere in the world.

The taller the better. I would like to be 195-200m. That would be perfect

I wouldn't mind being 200cm+ either, but that's just because I know a few giants and I've always liked the idea of being 300+ pounds at 9-12% bf. At my height this would be an impossible feat.

i dont know wat ur saying but even 10 min exposure to sunlight is enough for the vitamin p.s thts not the only source. also if u had severe vitamin d deficiency then it wouldve been obvious as the symptoms begin to occur which cant be ignored.

What are the symptoms? Nvm, looked it up.
Bone/Back pain - I've had horrendous back pain growing up absolutely horrible 8/10 pains. The bones in my legs have been hurting like a mofo for the last decade.

Depression - I've had some really nasty depression as well for the majority of my life its been kinda meh recently, but its become more of an apathetic meh.

Often tired or fatigued - Being incredibly tired has become my norm and it only seems to be getting worse while my sleep is getting better.

Slow healing - I thought my crazy healing was from me working out and eating right, but it seems I just went from one extreme to another.

Muscle pain - I've had tons of this, but might've just been because I wasn't the most active kid back then.

I've caught quite a few infections back in puberty and I do have high blood pressure. I'm also African American so we need more sun exposure on average anyway. You'd be surprised how horrible my parents were when it came to my nutrition and general needs. I got some testing done too and my doctor told me I was pretty deficient as well. My childhood was pretty horrible, my dad was abusive(I mean seriously abusive, throwing peeps down the stairs for pissing the bed tier abusive.) and my mom was pretty neglectful, but I don't blame her tho she tried her best even when things seemed hopeless.

I edited to make the wall of text easier to read.

To follow up on this my old man has another son with a different women and he's gone pretty try hard with him and he's pretty much guaranteed to be 6'2-6'3(last time I saw him he was 5'9-5'10 at 13ish and a doctor confirmed that this will most likely be the case going by his growth rate). It's definitely something that has me wondering, so I just try to avoid them altogether. Since I'm sure someone will ask, his mom isn't that much taller than mine she's about 5'5-5'6

That could be true. Just be sure you don't get locked into those thoughts. You can't change the past; you can change your future.

I'm passed most of this, when I was younger I was always pretty laid back even when things were going to hell. It must've been 2-3 years ago that everything kinda hit me pretty hard and it almost completely swallowed me whole. I'm just glad to be back to my meh days.

I think 6'1 is fine and at the upper end of desirable height for me.  I note that guys about 6'1 are often over estimated as 6'4.  But 6'4 is really tall - a colleague of mine is 6'4 and he drives a Van with the seats pushed way back.  He can't drive normal cars and traveling by air is really uncomfortable - both getting in and out of the plane, and sitting during the ride with legs cramped for the entire journey.  He is also constantly bumping his forehead getting through doors and needs a bed extension.  Being really tall becomes impractical and I think 6'1 is a good upper limit.  I note that even the dutch have stopped growing with an average height converging at 184cm (6ft).

I fixed most of these by changing my habits and improving my diet. I'm also okay with meh being my norm and I'll figure out the rest later. I never even considered CLL/LL when it came to fixing any of these issues. I just want LL to be a bigger dude while still being the best version of myself. The only difference is I'll be 10-11cm taller. Hopefully I won't experience any nasty side effects from the procedure and I can move on with my life. Now that I think about it I was probably enjoying life the most when I was going hard with my lifting about 1-2 year ago and I was mostly pain free.

even in the us thats not considered tall let alone very tall never heard that for someone below 6'2" maybe in asia thats why 6'1" is an attractive height because its above average/tallish without being tall or intimidating like 6'3"+

Doesn't really make sense to call 6'2'' "borderline tall" and 6'1'' "semi tall" and then say these heights are not tall at all. That's like saying you are rich with a net worth of 1 million but having 800,000 is "not rich at all".

188 cm at your lowest, barefoot, is the area where you will never feel short all around the world, even with younger guys, a friend of mine(but he is 6 ft 3) always was taller guy wherever we go in 95 % of the situations, there were guys taller than him but really rare

I consider this a decent height. Tall but not very tall. You'd be tall in most countries around the world and above average in a couple of countries in Europe.

decent height? 185 is way above average in every country in Europe, even above average in Netherlands, actually it is way above average globally. I'm not surprised people in this forum have a completely wrong perception of height, it must be an obsession for many of you. To say that 185-188 is decent is madness, it is actually really tall.

In most countries of Europe at 6'2 you will be taller than 85-90 % of men if not more
in some, like in Asia or South America it might be higher
today internet disconnected us about what is tall by popularizing crazy ideas. But at 6'2 you are tall if not very tall. And above 6'7 (well, even less like 6'5/6) you will enter in the "giant category", making every people look at you in the street even in the tallest average countries
people who claim the contrary are just disconnected
