You shouldn't do anything near 10cm on just 1 segment.

I'm going to Dr Sarin in February for cross lengthening. 5.5cm on femurs and 5.5cm on tibias. That costs $47500 £37500.

If you want to only do it on femurs or tibia then don't do more than 6cms.

May I ask what that price includes exactly?? Does it include accommodation and physical therapy and for how long?? Which method are you having? Thanks

On may 2018 i contact dr sarin he reply that near 4 inch(10cm) cost $17500USD if you are indian then its approx 10 lakhs. lengthening process of 1mm per day for at least 75-80day that requires you stay in Delhi. Includes every thing except food. this is the cost of external surgery. you can drive car after 7 months. for normal walk you need at least 4 to 5 months.  Daily food cost $4 - $7 depending on your taste. you can download local food delivery app and order.

Hope its help  :)

Thanks. I’m confused as to how you can cross lengthen not using any nails or are you using some nails? and be ready to walk as normal in 7 months. This all just seems too good to be true. 7 months for 10 cm of cross lengthening using an external device???

I’m starting to get very confused. I’ve spoken to 3 doctors who all claim that people generally recover from this operation quite quickly and can be out of frames in just 6 to 8 months yet most people on this forum who have lengthened using external method claim it takes much much longer like at least 12 months in frames of not more like say 14 months.

Its near 10cm normally 7.5 cm on tibia. if doctor see that your LL is going perfect/clear & recover fast then doctor goes to 1cm - 2cm or more.

yes you correct normally you need 3times to recover like if you gain 10cm in 100 days you need atleast 300 day(10 months) to fully recover. its also depend on your body how fast callus is making between the bone.

read all the forum thread note down the point then ask to the doctor.

Thanks
