On the other end of the spectrum, long tibia can look extremely feminine in some cases, especially when coupled with x-legs. That's something I'm taking into consideration since my tibiae are already pretty long.

Femurs with Dr. Paley in exactly 19 days! (holy s**t  :o)

I'm still unsure about who I'm going to go with when I do my tibias.  I only want a 5 cm gain so it might make more sense for me just to do externals only and save a s**t ton of money.. (~15K vs. 90K with Dr. Paley)

Congrats! I am really looking forward to seeing your progress. I am strongly considering Paley despite the huge price tag. One thing Im concerned is that somehow the 90kish will turn into a lot more once I am already committed and at the no turning back phase(accommodations or help etc costing more).

Seeing as I would like to achieve 6 1 in a totally ideal world, I also like your strategy of going a cheaper method for a small gain during round two.

Hi everyone! my first post! =)
Like Kilo, I'm thinking of getting it done by Dr Parihar or Dr Talwar probably later this year (2014). After lots of reading from people's experiences I'd prefer just external fixators only. It may take a while but then risk of getting knee pain and etc may be less.

Hello my friends, I will be doing LL before the end of may of this year (2014). Tibias of femurs, it is not decided yet. I am meeting Dr. Betz tomorrow (2014-05-16). I will keep you updated later rather than sooner (as I am waiting all the green flags before confirming the surgery).
I am likely to put all information in a freshly made diary.

Greetings everyone I am a 40 year old male and am 5'5. Over the years I've had to overcome my shortness by using my wit and charm. I recently learned that I can get a limb lengthening procedure done which will make me 3 to 6inches taller in a matter of months. I am scheduled for the surgery this September. I am going to get it done out of the country and so it is costing me a fraction of what it would cost me in the USA. I am looking to go with a group of 3 to 5 people to make it a little more interesting. Who is interested? Contact me for more details or go to http://www.talleratlistoinc.com

Hello Everyone

Want to do INTERNAL LIMB LENGTHENING in India preferably in late August or early September.

Is anyone else interested in doing this procedure?? Hope to get a group of three or even four. The more the better for support.

I am a British born male currently residing in the UK. My father is English and mother is Indian. I can talk and understand the Indian language, so hopefully this will help.

Please feel free to contact me

How much are you paying for the surgery in India and which doctor. Trying to workout if i could raise the funds required in time for when you go. I think Its better to go as a group or with someone for support. Am from the UK as well btw

My Consultation with Dr Sarin in Delhi for HLN Internal Lengthening on 15/07/14.

Price is $25,000 plus Accommodation ($1,000 per month for Hotel and you can upgrade).

Also met a current HLN patient, a female who had gained her target of 5.5cm.

Looking to have Internals or Externals in India soon. If anyone else is interested please contact me.

I might be doing some LL in the summer of 2015 if everything works out PERFECTLY. More realistically, It'll probably have to be the summer of 2016. I have to lose weight and add a little bit of height with my growth hormone treatment (I'm 5'6 and 18, and doctors think I should add at least another 2-4 inches with growth hormone shots six times a week), then I can do some male stripping and escorting to get about $15,000-$20,000. If I can get that to work out by next year, then I hope to go to the Russian Scientific Centre to do between 7.6-10 cm on my tibias ( I have weirdly short tibias, so it won't affect my proportions at all).

Slim tim, have you even contacted a clinic? You said you were going to do your surgery in October. Now you say February. Are you actually going to go through with it?

Hello ,, I'm planning to do tibia lengthening in India with Dr. Amar Sarin, but i don't know if that's a good idea after reading in some blogs, but the price is acceptable for me because I can only afford  LL for 15000 USD . Any recommendations ? I'm also looking forward to have my LL in China but I've heard that it was expensive.  I'm 165- 164 Cm. looking forward to lengthen my tibia because my legs are pretty short compared to my torso.  :'( :'( :'(

With the extra cost of accommodation and out of hospital meds, dressings, etc, Dr Parihar would be too expensive for a $15,000 budget. If you want LON then Dr Shah and Dr Dhawan are both options but if you want to go externals then Dr Dhawan might be a better bet because he uses the hexapod fixator whereas Dr Shah doesn't. You can find accommodation for a lower price in Delhi than you can in Mumbai as well.

Avoid Sarin and Sringari.

Actually at that height both your legs and torso are short.

I'm looking to do LL with Birkholtz Fall 2015. Possibly considering Dr. M in Los Angeles to be close to home.

Anyone in the same boat? I am leaning towards South Africa for the price.

Not just price but also ethics and morals. Dr M in LA seems to have absolutely zero in that department.
Dr Birkholtz seems like a good choice, I would never go with Dr M even if he was right next door to where I live  >:(

Yup. This is exactly why I can't take Dr. M seriously (even though he's pretty good) and would never go to him.

Dr. Paley may be an ego maniac, but at least he doesn't resort to fear-inducing advertising methods.
