Assuming I'm going to have my LL in around 6-8, maybe 10 months from now....how much and in what way, will it help me if I start stretching now and get my flexibility to a very good level?

In what ways and to what extent will the increased flexibility help?

Helps, but not that much. Flexibility is built in years, real flexibility.

I think it's worth it to start stretching now. any even incremental improvement in flexibility will help with the LL process- maybe less stretching pain, less chance of contractures, slightly faster recovery

you may not become an olympic gymnast in 10 months, but I would think you could still improve your flexibility quite a bit in that time
