How many people over 180cm have done LL? I'm 181, or 5'11, which is average these days as people seem to be getting taller: adding 5cm to be 186 or 6'1 would be a big boost.
I'm in my late 30s and enjoy keeping fit at the gym, occasional football, running and swimming, but I'm not a serious/competitive athlete. Also, I also have slightly bow-legged calves, and I understand that doing LATN would allow these to be corrected.
On this note, are there negative consequences of having non-corrected bow legs as you get older? As I said, I go to the gym, squat and leg press, and occasionally have slight knee pain, but nothing much. I have read that bow legs can lead to problems later in life, and I must admit that the idea of a "two-fer" - fixing my bow legs and gaining 5cm height - is quite appealing.
I could attach a photo of my legs to allow people to see the degree of bow-leggedness if anyone has knowledge of this issue and would be kind enough to have a look? Any and all learned comments welcome.
