I plan to do Solomin or Kulesh in late 2018 or early 2019 (dependent on whether I can save up that time).

Hi, I consider going there, too. However, there is currently no visa support, so how do you guys get to stay there for at least 3 months?

The business visa is not something you get for comsetic surgery. A private visa needs and invitation, right? Both of these are the only options to stay there for 3 months. The next easier option is a normal tourist visa for 1 month only.

What to do? Wait until politics change?

What do you mean by "sorts out".

Today I got news that are not that good. I asked them some questions, and here are the answers.

Is there extra charge for bow leg correction - no
or is it included in LATN surgery? - I'd recommend to discuss the possibility of bow-legs correction and then - nailing with professor. my opinion - nailing after bow-legs correction is not possible

How much more time does it take to do bow legs correction with LATN? -  -----------

Which Visa do I need? - how long will you stay in St.-Petersburg?

I read that only Medem patients get Visa support. - unfortunately, they don't provide it now. that is caused by politic situation

(off topic) I haven't seen costs for the 3rd surgery, extracting the nail after consolidation. Is this last surgery free or not? - that's not free, but we never performed it for the foreign patients. no one asked

Never knew people would do the 3rd surgery of LATN in their hometown. I mean which doctor does meddle in some other doctor's unfinished business?

Btw, did visa support mean visa extension? They only thing they offered earlier was extending the visa after 3 months. So it seems one has to get at least 3 months in somehow. Doesn't matter anymore since even the visa extension is not offered anymore, not in the updated versions of the informations they give.

Hi.
Anyone considering Vietnam. Heard there is this company which takes care of everything including visa. I got this reply today-

My name is Thao and I am doctor assistant. To answer your questions:

1. 6 ->7 cm in tibial is a very safe amount to lengthening.

2. For 6 -> 7cm it takes you around 4 months to walk again.
Please view the details caculate below:

* Aftef the first operation to have the frames on, you will need to wait 10 days to start to lengthening.

* With the rate of 0.75mm/day × 94 days ~ 7cm.

* After you have finished your lengthening then you will have to wait 5 days to have the frames removal surgery. Then another 5 days to recover from this surgery and start to walk with your new height.

Assuming you will lengthening maximum 7cm.

The math will be: 10 + 94 + 5 + 5 = 114 days.

If you only want to lengthening 6cm then please minus this result for 10 days = 104 days.

3. After 2 -> 3 years, you will have to come back for nails removal surgery.

4. You will need to be in a good health condition to undergo this surgery.

5. You need to make a deposit of 500 USD for us via Western Union + a front page picture of your passport to make a reservation + the date of your arrival. Please be aware that this fee is included in the total price and is non refunable in case you decide you do not want to do the surgery any more.

If you have more questions, please let me know. It is my pleasure to help international patients.

Best Regards,

Thao.

Do you think that western union sounds fishy?

Hey Guys, I am doing LL in Russia 2019, maybe September, around then. I will be staying in Russia for 1 year so if anyone wants to share an apartment or anything like that then Im down for it. :) :) :) I am doing it with DR. Solomin and DR. Kulesh. The rent would be so much cheaper and we wouldn't be in this alone either.

Does this apply to European countries? Or did you mean to say just the US? Because I am pretty sure Europeans can get a Longer term visa to Russia? Not sure, need to check.

Planning to visit him on March/2019 during my vacation and clarify some details, get deep into it the possibilities and methods that were sent to me by e-mail.

Then, schedule my procedure to late September.

Let's keep in touch and let's make it happen.
