This is an interesting post because I think it’s the most obvious one I’ve seen posted on this forum for seeing someone’s aesthetic limit. 181 is a touch shorter than you could go and 185 is just a bit too much. I agree with MDOW 183 is your max. In real life people will just think you have long legs if they notice at all, but if you went beyond that it might look like you are walking on stilts, or that your arms are short. But hey that kinda works out perfectly, you land almost exactly on 6 ft tall! You have the possibility of entering the elusive “6 foot club”.

185 does seem to much to me too. I suspect longer arms would make 185 good. That's a third surgery though. You can't really do mock up with longer arms without longer torso unintentionally. Curious if others think longer arms would let 185 work or the SHR is all they feel matters. What is your sitting height anyway? I'm curious to calculate your SHR at 183 vs 185. It does seem to make a big difference even though it's only 2cm

183 looks decent.  I say go for one segment and see how you feel after that.  You will be shocked about how good you feel with just one segment accomplished.

If that is your evening / night height you could hit 183.5cm in the afternoon / 184-184.25cm out of bed possibly, and so claim 6'0.5"and be between 6'0-6'1.  With thick shoes , afternoon height would be 186cm, with lifts...188/9cm.

Factor in shoes too.  I guess you would not wear lifts, so your height outdoors would likely hit 186cm in the afternoon and drop to 185.2-3 at absolute low late at night

Both 183 and 185 look 100% normal to me. Work your upper body out and it will look better. Good armspan saved you from arm lengthening.

you are very lucky! Looks like LL improves your proportions at 181, like others said even that's even a couple cm conservative.
