Need Tarsal Tunnel Release

So after frame removal (LON TIBIA )  I had alot of nerve pain, but it's better now but my sole had become completely numb after frame removal so i did a NCS (Nerve Conduction Study). Which showed my Tibial Nerve is not responding from the tarsal Tunnel area when stimulated but it is responding from the knee area. I can move my toes but I have no sensation on my feet. So the neurosurgeon has told me to get a Tarsal Tunnel Release surgery which could help in pain and numbness.

I did an MRI which showed the that the tibial nerve is intact

Has anyone ever experienced this?

7 cm gained on tibias via LON .  Had complications, Healed and moved on with life.
