leg alignment can get wrong after LL?
« on: April 07, 2023, 11:16:32 PM »

can you get the alignments of your legs worse after you do the surgery?

p.s
also if surgeon is going to correct your natural alignment, when does he do it? when inserting the nail or removing the nail, or sometime in between?

Of.course the alignment could be worse after LL if the doctor is not capable enough.
The best way to correct the alignment and do LL at the same time is hexapods that can be done only in tibias.
For correction only there are plates and no LL is needed.
Otherwise the correction should be done before inserting the nail and then put the nail to fix the bone in the new "proper" position and let it heal in it.

Yes, it can, if your doctor is trash and inexperienced. I received knock knees (x-legs) after LL, my legs were straight before. Now I have to get another surgery to fix it.
