Personally, I think it's anywhere from 5'6-5'9.  At those heights if you get 8cm on femurs you'd be jumping 40 percentiles in height.  From 5'8 -> 5'11 you'd go from being taller than 35% of guys to 78% of guys which is a massive change just on paper.

But to each their own. People who are 6'1 did it in my clinic and were happy with the results. It's for ANYONE who has the money to do it, knows how tough the 8 month journey will be, did their research, and think it's all worth it for 3 inch femur gains.

Agreed, I don't really criticize anybody of any height doing LL - whatever makes them happy right? 

But as a side note, I do think there absolutely is truth to the concept of diminishing returns the further away from average height you get.  For example, based off of  some random ass height percentile calculator I googled, 5'2 -> 5'5 you'd be going from 0.5 percentile to 7th percentile.  Same with a guy going from 6'1 -> 6'4 you'd only be jumping 6 percentiles. 

It's literally backed up by objective statistical data that LL gives more value closer to average heights particularly because height is relative.  If you can jump the whole height bell curve with LL you've just secured confidence about your height for your entire life.

not trying to downplay the benefits someone would get going from 5'9 to 6'2, but 5'4 guy lengthening to 5'9 goes from being utterly invisible to women to being able to live a normal life. obviously being able to attract women is just a portion of the benefits but you get the point.

Whichever height gets you to 5'7 - 5'8 from LL.

At 5'7 - 5'8, you will no longer be discriminated against due to height, meaning your stature won't be the first thing people notice about you, and it won't be something that hangs over you in every thing you do.

IN terms of dating this will open up the most percent of women to be open to dating you, from being completely disqualified no matter how handsome, or good socially you are, to being average height should be an absolute game changer in that your other features can actually shine..

Girls cannot even tell the difference between 5'10 and 6 feet, because they are all 5'6 at most... This is why all dudes lie giving themselves 1 -2 inches because people really cannot tell the difference. Going from 5'6 - 5'9 would be a difference maker for sure... but I truly believe 5'7 is the cut off from 'short king' (hate this term) to average height and from my research the majority would agree. This is why I believe that is the cutoff, from being noticeably short to blending in more with other men and why it has the most advantage. If anyone disagrees would like to hear more opinions...

nobody is calling someone who is truly 5'8 (barefoot) a 'short king'... imo its guys that are 5'6 and below who would be called 'short kings'.

5'8 with shoes is 5'9 +, which is average height in the US.

You obviously never been 5'8 or 5'9. It's not AS bad as 5'7. Obviously the shorter you are the worse. But it's still indirectly mentioned as you being average or below. 5'10 is where it truly shouldnt bother you anymore (in the US).

I still think there is a bigger positive impact is going from short to average, compared to going from average to slightly above average.

Because short guys will be discriminated against but average guys would not. Of course being taller will always give you a few brownie points, but the benefit gets less and less the further you get from average, with the biggest gain being from short to average crossing that threshold imo of 5’7.

I’m curious how were you feeling discriminated against being 5’8 or 5’9? Genuinely curious as I am aiming for that height through LL

For the record polls like this become a popularity contest, as every guy will select their height pre surgery as they want to believe in their minds that their starting height wherever it be 5’2 or 5’10, is the best benefit to gain from LL as they are trying to justify the huge costs both money, energy, time and pain wise to a huge surgery like this.


The average height of guys getting this surgery are 5’7 as that is the average height for men worldwide and the average height of guys in every community that isn’t soecifically tailored for tall guys imo.

So you will be getting a skewed polling based on the average height of the guys on the forum rather than the real supposed best height gain pre LL

I take back my opinions. The best height pre LL is whatever height you are pre surgery. This ain’t no competition, and height neurosis is a personal thing. Every has their own reasons for wanting the surgery, and if they have the money and the strength to go through it, all the more power to them. No one is more deserving than any one else.

Height neurosis is a real thing. Most normal short guys would never dream of doing this surgery and are living happy lives. So with regards to curing height neurosis, all heights are equal. But in terms of real benefit, going from short to average is better than going from average to tall with regards to dating. Height as a negative is a very big factor as it is an exclusion criteria... Below certain height, nothing else matters while above a certain height, other factors come into play

5'7, 5'8, 5'9, not saying other heights are not bad but bang for your buck is defitneltyy in these ranges, you can be way above average possibily make it to 6ft, maybe not at 5'7 but close to it if you do 9cm on femurs. Pros is one sugery, Pay one Time and only do 6 months hiatus.

That's because height is relative.  5'7-5'9 is technically still considered below average in western culture and anyone around these heights would still experience height discrimination.  Most people who are saying it's crazy are probably on the very short side and don't realize the brutal truth that it's still bad even at the 20th-45th percentile range.  Literally just look at how people mention the heights of Tom Cruise and Tom Hardy all the time.  There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing LL at heights of 5'7-5'9; this isn't the height oppression olympics.

Thats why I said said 5'7 and up is the best bang for your buck, if you want a actual advantage in life, being called tall instead of average but other heights below that is good too, but you need two surgeries.

5'4-5'5= still short

5'6-5'7= regularly short

5'8-5'9=average, but can be considered short in certain parts of Europe

5'10-5'11 = height still respected but poor in some countries like Eastern Europe

6'0-6'1= god height, you won't be short anywhere in the world

I am really wondering why most of people voted 5'6-5'7. I know the heights lying within this range are still below average but not much, def not to the degree that you will not even be considered as a man and not to the degree that women will reject you in some cases even if you are exceedingly rich and handsome. Tbh after 5'7 being taller will only be a 'bonus', but getting taller than 158cm-160cm will render your current life into a normal one(I mean after 5'7 your life is still 'normal' but just with more dating success, namely your life will not achieve a substantial improvement like if you do LL at 5'2'5'3)

5'6-5'7 is perfectly justafiable and I would guess the largest chunk of the LL community fall in this category. but a <5'4 man sticks out like a sore thumb and you'll experience discrimination even from children. getting someone to a normalish height (5'6-5'9 depending on the country) is the most "practical" use for CLL despite mental insecurity and dysphoria. regardless, the average 5'7 guy probably doesn't carry the mental anguish of someone 5'4.

And that is exactly why the shortest benefit the most, and even more if the shortest ones do two LL surgeries and gain 5 inches.

The shortest have two disadvantages in life, no dating life and not being a normal human statistically speaking. Average people don't have those two disadvantages.

I think it's because it's the risk vs reward of lengthening and porptions being at that height 5'2 - 5'3 and lengthening to 5'7-5'8 it's gonna look very weird having a 5'3 wing span being 5'8, unless you having big ass wing span which is possible, but if you lengthen a bit above and just do femurs you'll be 5'6 which is still short but IDK it just depends if you want to be aesthetic or not, some people don't care so it could benefit you if you just wanna be tall

5'5 is worse off in every metric and situation regardless of bias but he shouldn't have said 5'8 should be exempt from cll because everyone has their problems.

going from 5'10 to 6'1 bumps you up from 60th percentile to 90th percentile in the US. You'd go from having a good chunk of guys taller than you to only the freaks of nature being taller than you.
